T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'GOTYE' Poster

ABNRML was contacted to put together a print for the sold out GOTYE show at The Tower Theater in Philadelphia, PA.  As always, we turned to our partners in poster crime T-Bone and Aljax to whip up an awesome print to commemorate the night.  Live Nation requested something special, so the boys delivered.  Check out this awesome 3-color print on 19"X25" white French Paper cover stock.  Their performance was on March 23, 2012.  A few limited artist prints are available from ABNRML.com here.

T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Duran Duran' Poster

Check out this hot, hot, hot pink print for Duran Duran!  This awesome limited edition Live Nation screen print was designed by T-Bone & Aljax and printed and produced by ABNRML.com.  It is a 3-color print on 12.5"X19" insulation pink French Paper cover stock.  This print was not on sale to the public and is a special gift from Live Nation to Duran Duran for their performance at The Tower Theater in Philadelphia, PA on Monday, October 17th 2011.  Only 35 of these special prints were produced.

T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Primus' Poster

Les Claypool (Primus, Frog Brigade, Oysterhead) is back at it! With a new album and a new tour that swings into Philadelphia to rock The Tower Theater on Saturday October 1st 2011. This terrific and unique Primus poster was designed by T-Bone & Aljax and printed and produced by ABNRML.com. It is a very special gift from Live Nation and will be presented to Les as a gift. The print is 9.45"X25" on black French Paper cover stock and was not available for sale to the public. A very limited amount of these posters are available from ABNRML.com for a limited time.

T&A / ABNRML 'FM Fest & Ukie Club' Posters

We are very excited to show off these prints! ABNRML partnered up with the Philadelphia Film & Music (FM) Festival to produce the posters and t-shirts for the festival. Two posters were designed by T-Bone & Aljax and printed and produced by ABNRML.com. Both were printed on 19"X25" French Paper cover stock and will be available, along with the t-shirt, at various shows at the Festival. The festival begins on Thursday September 22nd and continues through Sunday the 25th. The main FM Fest 'train' print is the main festival poster and the other one is for the Ukie Club shows. Head out to the FM Fest and pick one of these bad boys up!

Joe Castro / ABNRML 'Steely Dan' Poster

Check out the brand new poster for Steely Dan's performance at The Tower Theater in Upper Darby, PA on 9/10/11. This poster was screened with love and 2-colors on 12.5"X19" black French Paper cover stock. Printed and produced by ABNRML.com and designed by Joe Castro of Red Attic Studios. Commissioned by Live Nation for Steely Dan's performance as a gift for the band. Only a small handful were created. An even smaller handful are available from ABNRML.

T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Bon Iver' Poster

We think this is one of our top 5 posters ever! This is a extremely limited edition collectors poster for Bon Iver's performance on August 3rd, 2011 at Philadelphia's legendary Tower Theater. Live Nation wanted to do a special print as a gift for Bon Iver after the incredible show so ABNRML commissioned T-Bone & Aljax to do an illustration to blow Iver's mind! This 4-color print is screened with love on 15"X25" hand trimmed cream French Paper cover stock. Only 50 of these amazing posters were printed. T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Robert Plant' Poster

We print for a lot of indie bands but every now and then we find ourselves printing for one of the greats. The latest poster produced and printed by ABNRML.com is for the one and only Robert Plant. For this very special print we enlisted the help of ABNRML poster partners T-Bone & Aljax to whip up a last minute special design. This print is for Robert Plant and The Band Of Joy and his sold out intimate performance at The Tower in Upper Darby, PA. This poster was printed on black 19"X25" French Paper cover stock that was cut down by hand to 19"X23". One of the color layers used a color bleed / fountain technique which allowed us to screen a blend of purple and blue with one pull of the screen. It was an amazing technique I'm sure we'll use again with future prints. This poster was an extremely limited edition and an exclusive print for Live Nation.

Zomic / ABNRML 'Free Energy' Poster

If you have not heard of Free Energy yet, you will. Free Energy currently resides in Philadelphia, PA and has been taken under the wing of DFA producer/LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy. The production on the album is raw rock and flawless. This 3-color print was designed by Charles Moran (Zomic.org) for ABNRML for Free Energy's performance at the First Unitarian Church on May 28th, 2010! You need to check this band out! Only a few of these prints will be available since it was a limited edition of 50 prints. It is a 12.5"X19" print on navy French Paper cover stock.

Zomic 'MONO' Poster

The last week and next week are an exciting two for poster printing. We had/have prints going for Mono, Brothers Past, Ra Ra Riot and She Wants Revenge/6 O'clock Saints. Mono was our first bite of a excellent and stressful poster sandwich. This 4-color Mono print was printed on 19x25 French Paper "Newspaper " cover stock and cut down to size. As with Zomic's (Sir Charles Moran) last poster, an excellent Cage print featured below, Chuck drew directly on the vellums for each separate color of the print. The show is September 27th at the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia, PA. Zomic will be there selling and signing this limited run of 60 prints. Obviously and as always, printed by ABNRML.

Zomic 'Cage' Poster

Our most recent poster adventure was an interesting one. ZOMIC.org's Sir Charles Moran connected up with ABNRML for a new CAGE print he was sketching out. After working with Chuck on a few prints (King Khan, Fugi Rock Fest), we decided we would experiment a bit. Chuck, like a lot of artists, hand draws a lot of his designs. Most of the time, those hand drawings get turned into digital files on a computer that are more easily manipulated and able to get print ready (this is not a bad thing!). With this specific print, we experimented by giving Chuck a few pages of high quality vellum (think tracing paper) to ink out each seperated color. This required Chuck to work pretty hard and we are very impressed with the results. We took his hand drawn vellums, burned them directly to screens and printed; circumventing digital goodness and computers all together. Like the old days of screening. It worked out great.

This 4-color print for rapper CAGE was screened on bright white Canson Bristol 96lb. paper and was a very limited run of 25 prints for Cage's show at the First Unitarian Church on July 30th, 2009 in Phildelphia, PA.
