Joe Castro / ABNRML 'Lotus' Tour Posters

The latest two ABNRML prints are pretty special. It is the first time we have created a set of posters for different legs of a tour, as well as the first time we have two prints that connect together into a larger poster. These two prints are for the Lotus shows in both NY and DC and are printed and produced by ABNRML.com. We commissioned the help of Philadelphia artist and ABNRML cohort Joe Castro. Each print is screened on heavy 12.5X25 midnight blue French Paper cover stock. They are both very detailed 3-color prints and together they span 50 inches on a wall! The two prints were for the following shows and were available at the band's merch stand. A very small handful are available now here.

T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Robert Plant' Poster

We print for a lot of indie bands but every now and then we find ourselves printing for one of the greats. The latest poster produced and printed by ABNRML.com is for the one and only Robert Plant. For this very special print we enlisted the help of ABNRML poster partners T-Bone & Aljax to whip up a last minute special design. This print is for Robert Plant and The Band Of Joy and his sold out intimate performance at The Tower in Upper Darby, PA. This poster was printed on black 19"X25" French Paper cover stock that was cut down by hand to 19"X23". One of the color layers used a color bleed / fountain technique which allowed us to screen a blend of purple and blue with one pull of the screen. It was an amazing technique I'm sure we'll use again with future prints. This poster was an extremely limited edition and an exclusive print for Live Nation.

Joe Castro / ABNRML 'ABNRML 30th Anniversary' Art Print

2011 is an important year for Abnormal Tees. It is our 30 year anniversary! ABNRML started in Los Angeles in 1981 and has been printing for the last 30 years. Some of our printers have been around since the beginning. To commemorate this important achievement, we commissioned an art print from Joe Castro of Red Attic Studios. Joe came up with a 'from rooster to rabbit' theme from the Chinese zodiac symbols. There is also 30 ABNRML stars on each print. The print is also reversible so you can sport the rooster or the rabbit, depending on whether you are feeling like the 80s or more modern! This 3-color print was screened on extremely special patterned French Paper with some metallic gold and measures 12.5"x19".

ABNRML 2010 Xmas Tee

It is almost too stinking cute to wear! Just slap the ABNRML logo on a t-shirt with a Santa hat and a Christmas tree and our plans for a simple and kid friendly holiday shirt came to life! This 3-color sport grey tee was designed by ABNRML and given to family and friends on Christmas day. It will also be available in our web store at ABNRML.com.

ABNRML 2010 Graphic Tee

ABNRML's 2010 graphic t-shirt was designed by T-Bone & Aljax. It is a humorous and whimsical take on how Abnormal mixes inks! This special graphic tee print is a 3-color sand t-shirts. It was given out to various friends and family on Christmas and will be for sale in our web store soon. Special thanks to T-Bone & Aljax for coming up with this design for us!

T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Disco Biscuits' Poster

Ring them bells! Ring in the new year with The Disco Biscuits at The Tower in Philadelphia, PA and this spectacular new ABNRML print. This brand new poster is for The Disco Biscuits two night stand at The Tower in Upper Darby. This poster was printed and produced by ABNRML.com and designed by none other than T-Bone & Aljax. Matt, one of the owners here at Abnormal, has been a Disco Biscuits forever, so it was a real thrill for us to create the official Disco Biscuits New Years Eve poster. It is a 4-color print screened on black French Paper 19"X25" cover stock. 100 of these special prints will be available at the show. A limited number will be available through us on 1/1/11. Special thanks to our good friend Tom Hamilton for hooking ABNRML up with the band.

Joe Castro / ABNRML 'Deerhoof' Poster

We just had the pleasure of printing a new poster for Deerhoof! The poster is a 19"X25" screen print on orange French Paper. The collage design was created for ABNRML by Joe Castro of Red Attic Studios. The band had asked for a Philadelphia based artist so we were happy to have Joe on board. This poster is our first print for 2011! It is for Deerhoof's show on Febuary 11, 2011 at the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia, PA. This is a very limited edition print for the band and Live Nation. An extremely limited number of these were screened. Printed and produced by ABNRML.com.

The 50/50 Company 'USA' Art Print

We are very pleased to display the very first print we have done for GL/CK The 50/50 Company. It looks as if this neat 1-color print is the beginning of several art prints from 50/50. This is a 1-color print on 19'X25" French Paper white cover stock and will be available from 50/50 via the link below sometime in the future. We thought the patterns really turned out neat for this project. We look forward to working with 50/50 more in the future.

After all the success of our previous Ween prints, ABNRML was asked to help out with a print for a Gene Ween solo performance. ABNRML cohorts T-Bone & Aljax stepped up to the plate (literally), pointed towards the outfield and smacked a home run poster design! Printed and produced by ABNRML.com and designed by the legendary T-Bone & Aljax, this limited edition 4-color print was screened with love and devotion on 19"X25" French Paper white speckletone card stock. You can almost taste the goodness! This print will be for sale by Gene Ween at the show on December 17th 2010 at The Black Cat in Washington, DC and also available through ABNRML.com the night after the show!

Zomic 'Maserati' Poster

Take a look at the 3-color print by Zomic.org for Maserati's latest performance in Philadelphia at the Kung Fu Necktie on November 12th 2010. We first printed the Maserati name when they played with Mono last year and were featured on one of Zomic's prints. This new poster is a 3-color screen print on 19"X25" French Paper cover stock. A very limited number of these were available at the show. A few are left for sale through Zomic.

T-Bone & Aljax / ABNRML 'Sufjan Stevens' Poster

Some time ago we had the pleasure of seeing an intimate performance by Sufjan Stevens at Johnny Brendas in Philladelphia. The show was very small and featured Sufjan exploring some new material and a new sound. It was one of the top ten concerts we have ever been to. Last night ABNRML had the pleasure to see Sufjan Stevens at the Academy of Music featuring his fully realized new sound with his 13 piece touring band. His new material was accompanied by stage theatrics, horns and dancers. This poster was an exclusive print for Live Nation promotion and as a gift for Mr. Sufjan Stevens himself. It was not for sale to the public. A very small amount of these are for sale now through ABNRML. A limited edition of 40 prints were screened. It is a 4-color silk screen on French Paper cover stock designed by T-Bone & Aljax and printed and produced by ABNRML. J Dub All Stars 'Citizen Cope AC' Posters

This neat print was screened for the Citizen Cope performance in Atlantic City, NJ in October. These are 3-color designs by John Warner over at J Dub All Stars. The print was only available the night of the shows and are screened on 19"X19" French Paper cover stock. We really like how this one came out! A very limited edition of these were produced.

J Dub All Stars 'Frolic 25th Anniversary' Poster

It is very rare that a poster we print here at ABNRML is not music related. This art print was screened for the retail store 'Frolic' that has several location throughout the east coast. This print and accompanying t-shirt marks their 25th anniversary! It was designed by J Dub All Stars exclusively for Frolic. The print is a 3-color 19"X25" print and is only available at the Exton, PA location.

J Dub All Stars 'Citizen Cope Austin' Poster

Citizen Cope does so well they have both a Texas Tour print as well as specific show posters! This is the print for their two night stand performances at Stubb's BBQ in Austin, TX on Septembner 17th and 18th. This was an elaborate 4-color print designed by J Dub All Stars and screened on black French Paper cover stock. A limited number of these were screened and were only available on tour.

J Dub All Stars 'Citizen Cope TX' Poster

We have printed a slew of Citizen Cope merchandise over the last year or so. We printed a lot of posters that never made it onto the blog so we are going to post a handful. This is the J Dub All Stars designed Citizen Cope poster for their shows in Texas in 2010. This is an amazing 4-color print screened on 19"X25" white French Paper cover stock. The prints were available only from Citizen Cope on their 2010 Texas tour.

Zomic 'Pet Sematary' Art Print

We have done a lot of concert posters with Chuck Moran (Zomic.org) over the last year and a half. This is our very first art print with Zomic. This is a horror inspired 2-color design surrounding the imagery in the Pet Sematary horror flicks. One of the layers is also screened with an additional glow in the dark layer to really let this print come to life. A very limited number of these prints were available and can be obtained by contact Zomic.org or visiting our webstore (coming soon!). This print measures 19"X25" and is screened on French Paper cover stock.

J Dub All Stars 'Bronze Radio Returns' Poster

This is a very bright 4-color print for Bronze Radio Returns. Each layer was screened with love on orange French Paper cover stock. A limited edition of these J Dub All Stars prints were produced and available from the band throughout their last tour. The print measures 19"X25".

J Dub All Stars 'Uncle Lucius' Poster

Check out the October 20th 2010 Uncle Lucius and Friends print for their performance at Threadgill's World Headquarters. This is a 1-color print on black speckle tone French Paper cover stock designed by John Warner over at J Dub All Stars. A very limited amount of these posters were produced and were sold the night of the show.
